Four Steps You Must Take When Flashing Nokia Phones

These days it is so important to all software technicians to take care when they work with Nokia Phones, as a lot of security levels ( SL1 – SL2 – SL3 ..) shows up and start making a lot of people crying when something goes wrong.

Here you will get 4 steps you must take before flashing or unlocking any Nokia phone to stay away from losing money and fighting with your customers:

Check phone model: Some models has more than one model's code like N96 for example as there are 3 different model's codes (RM-247, RM-297, RM-472) but you cannot flash them all with same flash file or you will get big troubles, you should flash each one by using its own firmware, and there are many other models like N85, N97, N86, N95, X6, X3…etc.
Check phone firmware version: this step is very important too so when you need to flash any phone you have to write down its firmware version which installed on it before you do anything, and keep in mind to flash same or newer version and never think to flash older one or you will kill it, and some new models will get Security Data corrupted after flashing with older one.
Whenever you can try to keep some backup of everything you can get from the phone like RPL, Simlock RPL, Certification, PM, or anything the Box you are using can read to be able to fix the phone in case something goes wrong.
Try to Keep the PC you are using to flash phones in Good condition and clean of viruses to stay away from sudden turn off or freezing and other problems as that may hurt the phone's programming process.
